Hello, I’m Catherine.

I like people. I like movement. And I’ve been known to make a bit of a song and dance about both.

I’m the person behind MoveCB. Part personal trainer, part organiser of things, and someone who firmly believes that enjoying yourself should be a bigger part of everyday life.

MY STORY

I've never had a straight line career.

I’ve worked in corporate offices, managed global sales teams, managed a pub, helped people buy houses and spent my days singing songs and telling stories to under 5’s. Along the way there were also jobs in product management, business development, running a kitchen and learning and development too.

Not exactly a straight line, is it?

But there’s always been one thing I keep coming back to: people.

Whether I’m helping someone learn something new, bringing a room together or encouraging someone to try something they didn’t think they could do, those are the moments I enjoy most.

Eventually, I realised I wanted to do more of what I enjoyed, on my own terms. So I took the plunge and started working for myself.

These days movement is a big part of how I do that. MoveCB gives me a place to bring together everything I’ve learned, everything I love, and a few ideas I’m still figuring out.

People, movement and a good time.

I believe movement can be practical, effective and life-enhancing without taking itself too seriously. It’s not about punishing workouts or fitting into a mould, it’s more about feeling good, building confidence and creating a life you actually enjoy.

I create classes, events and online programmes that bring people together. To move, to laugh, to try new things and to feel part of something. Because everything is better when we do it together.
